The Pharmaceutical Sector, as the biggest functional unit, encompasses activities related to supplying of pharmacies, provision of prescribed drugs and those that are sold without prescription, production and control of magistral medical products and cooperation with other institutions in order to promote health.
Our pharmacies retail drugs, which includes procurement, storage and provision of prescribed drugs and those that are sold without prescription. Apart from the abovementioned, pharmacies are also supplied with children food and accessories, and dietary products, cosmetics and other health protection products, herbal products, counseling regarding prescription and correct use and storage of drugs, medicaments and other products that are retailed in pharmacies, as well as services aimed at promoting health and preventing diseases, health education and counseling for protection and improvement of the health of the citizens.
The human resource role has always been deemed a real treasure in Mojaapoteka, and it therefore takes the prime position in the issues of importance for strategic business orientation.
Today, we have over 150 employees, of whom more than 120 are employed in pharmacies, designated in 50 health teams. Pharmaceutical teams in our pharmacies ensure pharmaceutical services aligned with the guidelines of Good Pharmaceutical Practice and the requirement of pharmaceutical standards, and all that in order for our citizens to be able to see us as a trustworthy partner in the promotion and protection of health.
